Debbie's House Blocks
This is the cutest idea! I do like improv-style houses too, but repeating the same block with different fabrics in the alternating black & white is going to make for such a cool quilt. I'm really glad you had us incorporate our own fabric for the doors--those pops of color will add a lot of interest.

Your houses and doors look great!
ReplyDeleteBetween me and my machine, we are not good at free motion quilting. I also like fairly simple straight line quilting so that is probably what I'll do. Straight lines across the house, but not the door, look a little like siding.
However, I usually don't make final quilting decisions until the quilt top is finished. So we'll see!
